I thought the Adobe-Apple issue will a non-issue until I got a macbook, and installed Flash - the bloody thing crashes the Mac so often that after uninstallation, things are back to normal. It should actually be investigated the allegation by Steve Jobs that Adobe deliberately make buggy software for the Mac ./Ok3ch On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 11:08 AM, Philip Musyoki <pmusyoki@gmail.com> wrote:
@Humprey, Don't even compared Adobe to Apple. Apple is a great company, making great products that everyone wants to use. Adobe makes expensive buggy software. The reason Apple does not support Flash is because Flash is buggy, consumes too much powers and almost all browser crashes are caused by Flash or some other Adobe add-on. And don't bring Steve Jobs in to this. Adobe's revenue is just under 3B USD per year, while Apples is just over 165 B USD with another 60 B USD in cold hard cash. They don't need to compete. If Apple wanted it could buy Adobe with it's petty cash from the box outright or just bankrupt them.
