Had the same issue with a SanDisk flash, but was working on/off on my office PC. Only seemed to behave on my personal laptop. Is it working on other PCs? If so try to format it on the working PC and see if it works.

Alex

No I don't think so. Its from an International company branded in their name. The owner says his external HDD also suffered the same predicament but haven't gotten hold of it yet

Hi All, I have a flash drive drive that seems to be recognized by Win but wont open. Says insert disk in drive {drive letter}
I have changed the drive letter and path to no avail. Cannot format since it says there is no disk, cannot scan...am trying to ask google but no luck yet! Any help is appreciated. The flash looks fairly new.

Thanks
Jeff
