FYI,Alternately there's another option (mostly targeting big corporates) which allows you to sponsor some existing tones.You first "talk" (....aargh just what you were avoiding Clement) to the provider to allow you to pay up-front for a few tones that they already have. These tones are then made available for free to subscribers (a limited number of course). Your "short advert" is then played for some few seconds before the sponsored tone is played.
