We are in the same boat. My average bill is about Kshs. 350 - Kshs. 400, last month's bill came to over Kshs. 600. I paid Kshs. 700. Then using their email generated response (bill@kplc.co.ke), this month's bill has shot to Kshs. 1,115. I've contacted them via the customer feedback form on their website and #KenyaPower on twitter, but there's no response. I haven't made any changes to the normal electrical gadgets in the house. Thanks for raising this issue. I too am affected. For the last three months, I have had to pay an average KES 2,500 every month to KPLC, yet there is nothing that has changed in the house that would suddenly make by consumption to double. Before that, I used to pay average 1,200 monthly. There must be something that KPLC are upto, and I surely need to know what it is.
