We are the Master Affiliates for the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) covering 7 countries in the greater East Africa region. LANet Consulting works closely with training and academic institutions to deliver training and accreditation in the Linux Operating system and other free and open source software.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our marketing efforts and manage the day to day operations while enhancing communications with our partners.

Personal Profile

1. Highly responsible and self confident

2. Self starter, able to work with minimal supervision

6. Entrepreneurial mindset

Education, Skills and Experience

1. Training in Marketing in combination with IT preferable

2. Experience in marketing or business development in the service industry, especially in IT services

3. Good IT skills. Advanced technical IT skills will be an added advantage

4. Social media skills

5. At least one year experience in marketing or business development.

Remuneration

Competitive entry level package with a good retainer and generous commissions based on performance and targets.
