I know someone who went to court when such thing happened to him in some ****** bank. The bank opted for a out of court settlement and was paid for damages caused.

And I have some series of misfortunate events with Barclays that I can
only give individually :-(

I have never tried NIC, but after I looked up their shareholding
structure and found out that the majority shareholder is Barclays, I
kept off.
