NMG always have this habit of not believing in their product entirely. something is wrongif they cannot change it mara kwa mara for them it is if people are comfortable with it then something is wrong. remember the debacle of the launch of easy fm. chucking out such great programs like the swahili ones on sato and Sunday only to bring them back some years later. Me think its digital paranoia (we buy newspapers and watch telly out of habit woe to them if we realize theirs more n better on line and its for free) the creative dept want to be seen as relevant ama watauliza muna duu! i like the new look..the typeface is simple and easy to spot amidst all
the other stuff that appears on the screen.It does grab attention, which is what a corporate image/brand should do. perhaps they overdid it with the rainbow colored ribbon but , still, it does give it character. I found the old logo to be a mixed up jumble of letters that was not straightforward.
