I dont know how many bashing comments ill get from this but ill have to say it. I have the Safaricom Wimax 1Mbps link and to be very frank with you, I have no regrets. Its never been down, Its reliable, fast etc etc Though its not perfect, save for the fact that i never hit 1Mbps, I have to say I had almost lost faith in ISP's till i decided on this link. we paid for the 4mbps bundle at 2 pm and had the link installed by 5pm. i guess being located next to their hq's along ringroad helps! neither do we get as much outages as i see guys complain but again we are on the same line as the hq so again, it helps being near the source!
