EASSy has gone live and I talked to Alcatel-Lucent's Submarine Networks team, VP marketing (Enrico Banfi) and Regional Director Gary Waterworth and they assured me that it comes with a 25 year warranty on the equipment. I also found out from a reliable source that Seacom (down 23 days now) is "made in china" and that they are worried as it seems all their repeaters(deep on the ocean bed) have a problem! _______________________________________________
