[Skunkworks] Monitor tools [change/access of files and folders across a network]

Hi Guys, Am looking for a security tool in Windows or Linux in which u can have a record history of who accessed what?e.g user user1 accessed computer named lab-comp at 1pm 29-10-09 and accessed docs folder. - Should include among others; - time, user (used to access), ip address where applicable, what was changed etc. The tool may scan across network. -- Best Regards, Wt.
