The2700AP is a pretty simple AP to install, with POE, allow you to use web client or telnet to configure. You may need to check the firmware and upgrade to the latest which adds some features like DHCP just in case you need them. It is outdoor so make sure insulation from rain especially where the antennas connect is good. I

I normally get around 600 metres coverage, but that will depend on the environment and sometimes the signal can be low indoors but pretty usable.

My antenna is:

ANT24-1500                   D-Link 15dBi Gain Outdoor Omni-Directional Antenna

The directional ones are also good for smaller point-to-point networks.

Thank you. Now I have a clue.
What the coverage of your AP?
Anything else you'd like to share from your experience? Any gotchas that may make me sleepless? :)
