Personally, I have a bias towards avast! anti-virus but your inquiry reminds me of a discussion on LinkedIn I am following vis-à-vis the same. It is very thorough & I am certain you can find your answer there. Apart from installing & configuring an anti-virus program, have you considered other avenues of securing your network? Such as blocking of U.S.B. ports & D.N.S.? A service I use (in regards to the latter), is OpenDNS. I highly recommend it to any I.T. practitioner!
