Honestly i have new found respect for these guys. im just cc'ing the relevant guys to get an actual confirmation, but nonetheless 1.5b for dealing with vandalism!

The Question:
1.5 Billion? for repairs alone? Thats like 4.1095890411 Million a day. Is maintenance of the fiber that expensive?
