Some time back, I did a massive conversion of my rare collection audio tapes into CD format.<br><br>My simple process involved:<br>- Playin the audios tapes from a separate <br>- Feeding the output of above into the mic input of a PC<br>
- Capturing the input using available software (I had some crude tool that came with the Motherboard)<br>- Processing the resulting audio files (Trimming off paused, sound levelling, etc)<br><br>The trick was in tinkering with the settings on the tools used.<br>
