well, the course is worthwhile. I am speaking on behalf of some previous attendees. The fact is that the idea of the class is to get people started.Not to teach them everything. to have some basics then from there they evolve. I think jess is doing a good job. as for the money, it caters for the food. i missed it last year and many of my classmates told me it was very worthwhile. and thought provoking.

@Mike go easy on these guys. i dont know much about what happens at the boot camp or how they will be taught to develop sofware in 3days and asked to get involved in a programming comptition for the next one month.... hhhmm. but the thing is, these students are piking up ideas and a bit of knowledge in the least (if not a wealth of knowledge). I just have one concern and question. Seeing after this there will be a programming competition, am just wondering whether the contestants will be provided with the necesary tools to get this done? Good work though.

@Mike I think you are in the wrong profession. Any serious developer will tell you that 99% of what they know is self taught. Its all about the passion! Plus i think you are nuts asking Conrad to lay bare his CV. Some of us have benefited greatly from his initiatives at Africa.NET. Jessica is doing a great job.
