Facebook will give you the stats on the number of facebook personnel available in your targeted location and user category. Eg if you are targeting ladies between 18-25 within kenya , who have an interest in fashion, it will show you xxxx users.depending on what the user profiles say 4.I would say that from my experience, its good to start with CPC(Cost per click) then evaluate how your campaign is running, before switching to CPM(Cost per thousand impressions) 5.When setting up the CPC cost, facebook will provide you with a value of the cost of the ad.say 0.4 USD per click. Always bid lower than this eg 0.25 (slightly above 50% of the suggested bid price) 6. ALWAYS set a day max rate of how much you want to use per day, otherwise your ad will continue to be served and you will continue being charged, whether you are getting relevant clicks/impressions or not 7.You will need to enter a valid credit card 8. Try and get a coupon for advertising first, before you burn cash or limit the daily rate of your account 9. Visa business network used to give USD 100 worth of facebook coupon.
