i know of an SMS API with the following features. -Front end - group sms(from online address book) , bulk sms(uploaded contacts) and single sms - Back end with sms log, delivery report ,sms credit details - branded sms - specify sender the API is not open source though its usually given out for free as long as the client buy the an sms account.
