The KES 70,000 is not reflective of market price for the iPhone 3GS, it is just an exorbitant Orange KE price. The 16 GB iPhone 3GS goes for USD 600 In US and around GBP 499 in the UK (unlocked). 

But I am not sure we are at a point and time where you can compare the iPhone with a Samsung.
