@Chris_Mwirigi: The use of a torrent architecture was just an after thought a few days ago of the kplc monitoring inputs thing that am working on. I wanted to see how I could apply such an architecture into the wiki-style type of web app. For example, part of the KPLC monitoring includes sharing of jpeg images that point to shoddy and dangerous works done at transformer level or overhead cables i.e say the earthing was not done too well etc. IMO, I don't want to use the regular file uploads methods but to build something that has torrent structure where the data shared will have a data verification, can be hosted on various client machines if the needs arise etc. Anyway, I found it extremely interesting and thus listed the thread hoping that someone will have done some work on such and could share some insights.

@Jared_Koyier, there is work in progress and UPPAID/NOT FUNDED/MY PERSONAL TIME NON-COMMERCIAL commitment to finish it. Will share with you when it is completed. For the end user, it'll be a simple website but what goes on behind the processes with what am working on.

@Mark_Mwangi, what do you want me to write? Please read the first post and second post, then comment.

Too many responses on this thread. No more comments from me unless it has anything to do with the original posting of Torrent Architecture.

Rgds. :-)
