Hi guys,<br><br>I have installed the right drivers for the NIC. I am also using Comodo Firewall Pro instead of the M$ thing, I am trying to monitor the PC&#39;s behaviour to see if that could be contributing to the problem I am experiencing.<br>
<br>About having a virus, I don&#39;t mean to brag but I believe my PC is one of the cleanest on the planet :).. OK not really, but I do keep it always up-to-date, ands I have had this problem for over a month. Since I update daily, I don&#39;t think the virus would be on my system for that long without ever getting discovered by the Kaspersky.<br>
<br>I pinged [or is it pang?? :D] <a href="http://mail.google.com">mail.google.com</a> thrice this morning and I also noticed that the IP address keeps changing. I know they are all google IP addresses, but why would they keep changing every few minutes? The screendump is attached herewith. Notice data loss increasing with each ping...<br>

<div>It could also be a virus that connects to its &quot;master&quot; somewhere everytime it boots.</div>

I have spoken with someone from my ISP and she said the problem could be on my side. Whenever I dial up, it&#39;s an iBurst connection, I get connected, but the link only stays up for a short time then becomes so slow. If I disconnect and reconnect, it fails to resolve DNS entries, so I reboot and the connection is back again, only for the link to become slow again after a few minutes. So I&#39;ve been wondering whether it could be my NIC... coz apparently, I&#39;m the only one on iBurst having that issue, according to the person I spoke with from the ISP.</font></div>
