When you did your return and it showed that you would
be in a refund-position you should had been asked about your
bank-account details - this is where the refund will eventually
be disbursed to (so don't close that account).
iTax does have a section regarding refunds - I can't recall if you actually have to "request" for the refund to be initiated - but take a look, you are supposed to see how far in the "process" your refund are.
Now that you are in a refundable-position it should
also be possible to request to have the refund NOT refunded but
instead using it as an offset towards future payments, but you
have to explicit request this. This might however be "faster"
than awaiting for Treasury to allocate refund funds...

I got an acknowledgement receipt for tax refund application for income tax claim from KRA...showing that KRA needs to refund me a good amount of money.
Does KRA really give refunds??
Any idea on how to go about it?Sam.

What's the point of announcing that we have until 30th if the system is only available until 29th? Been encountering this since 7pm

Someone please explain, I have never filed my Taxes before and I did not notice the deductions "if they ever happened" What will be the exact amount of money deducted if someone does not file?. I have downloaded the Individual Resident form but its totally different from what I have seen with others. I am using numbers on an iMac am not sure how this works out. Does this mean I have to install Microsoft office for Mac?
