Re: [Skunkworks] KCB ATM/Debit Card (Visa Electron) is being rejected during online purchases

I have just noticed most banks are going that way of not allowing Visa Electron Debit Cards for internet payment. Started with Standard Chartered, now it is KCB. I think this is mediocre at best. I think it should me made illegal (by the CCK of Banking Industry) for Banks to do this while at the same time hawking their more expensive Credit Cards. I understand their security concerns but the same applies to all Credit/Debit cards. And the fact that they simply do that without bothering to inform their clients is even more irritating.
