
I disagree. There is a lot of data many business generate that is an opportunity for a savvy backup company to monetize. Besides emails databases, application databases, document management system data, etc. I'm sure most of us backup to external hard disks (if at all) and carry the same to some other location by car. Much as I agree with you, a more pertinent question is whether we have data to justify this... Most business are not plugged in, along with individuals, the purpose of such a datacenter will be mainly to host email...
