I think most if not all of us owe Windows a lot for our technical expertise, now we can't afford to denigrate it. Truth is, over 95% of IT people exist because of the numerous challenges Windows users face. True or false?

Yes and 30-40 percent exist because people/users want alternative to that!

1. Can any *nix user raise a hand if they have ever experienced BSD [Blue Screen of Death] right in the middle of typing a harmless email or any other task out there?
What will a windows user say?

2. When did you last have your machine suddenly freeze in the middle of POST and there was no way out apart from re-installation?
What will a windows user say?

3. When did an account crush and had serious problems there after?
What will a windows user say?

4. When did you ever feel like your files were being read by somebody else using your machine?
What will a windows user say?

To all the above questions *nix users will most certainly say never and if ever sorting it out didn't make you sweat. Windows users will be hoping that it doesn't happen any time soon.
By the fact that windows has more users that *nix, it doesn't come as a surprise that *nix has been around longer than windows and again it doesn't come as a surprise as to why serious companies dealing with serious transactions and at the same time take their clients serious.
