From the setup we have done everything right, just that the distance from one villa to the next seems to reduce signal to just 35%. Today, from the control room I managed to do a direct connection to each villa. There is no signal loss at all. I have done all things possible but im told its a DSTV problem.

I have advised the client to get DSTV direct from dish while other dish services eg Zuku will continue on the shared platform as they do not seem to have issues sharing a dish connection.

For the deployments I've seen, the multi-switch to satellite dish has issues but perhaps the technician lacked your expertise. 
How many decoders will be sharing the single dish? The largest LNB I've come across is an 8-port LNB. Perhaps 2 dishes would suffice for up to 16 decoders.

Requirements:
- Multi Switch:    There are two types -   Passive and active
   Active is recommended as it has minimal signal loss.
- Dual LNB

Connect V and H (RHCP and LHCP) depending on polarity to Multi Switch and  outputs connect to different decoders/homes.
