When looking for a VPS Company (VM services, for say a month) or a Cloud company (VM services, for say an hour or on capacity-on-demand basis), located out of Kenya - do we take into consideration that we are subject to the laws governing data protection in the host country(country where servers are located)? Should this be weighed on the pros or cons for local developers? Is one local service provider taking this seriously - http://www.kdn.co.ke/content/private_policy.html or did the mouse just sleep on the banana?
