Hi all,

Not being a Windows user, I have no clue about Windows activation. These are my questions. If a computer is bought with Windows 7 Home Premium:

1. If the Windows is reinstalled, how many times can it be re-activated? Is there a limit (either by phone, over the net, etc).

2. If the Windows is installed inside a VM (on the same computer which is now running Linux), can it still be activated? And if so, how many times (if you re-install)?

3. What hardware changes (if any) are allowed?
