For a small office set up which type would you suggest. Each cable will probably be maximum 40 metres long.
For a small office, I'd go for "open space" layout and use Wi-Fi. Rather than spend 15k on cables, I'd go for powerline adapters.
Wifi makes sense for a small office - but there is also the question of cost of wireless network adapters for the desktop PCs - since nowadays all machines come with built in ethernet the cost of circa 10-15k for wiring + switch is much easier to swallow (although less attractive coz you have wires lying around). If, on the other hand, the workstations are laptops with inbuilt wifi then the access point/hotspot route makes a lot of sense. :o) Brian
