Dear members, So yesterday, a friend of mine bought a relatively well made and comprehensive school management system <http://codecanyon.net/item/ice-advanced-school-management-system/10452009> from codecanyon for about Kshs. 4000. Yes, you read that right, four thousand shillings (actually, it was less than that). That developer has sold 21 copies as of today. The app is made with CodeIgniter and runs off MySQL, and full source code is provided. This made me wonder, how will this impact our local software market?
