PC Tech is releasing an International Edition,
which will run as a quarterly magazine alongside the current East African
Edition. The 1st Issue, October - December 2010 will be released later this
month, and launched in Accra, Ghana on 24th September.
The magazine seeks to tell
the African ICT story by documenting and presenting the use of information
technologies (ICTs) by private and public institutions/companies in Africa.
It also details consumer
interests and perspectives on technology in the East African region, and the
continent as a whole. Beyond technology adoption and usage, the magazine
discusses how private and public businesses/institutions address contemporary
business challenges and remain innovative and competitive. In practice, the
discussions are aimed at enabling other African business to learn from best
practices and creating avenues for collaboration between these businesses. In
research the discussions are aimed at offering educators and students sound case
studies for learning.
We are featuring IT
companies around the continent, including interviews
with CEOs.

In
the meantime, Issue 7 of the East African Edition will be released on 15th
September.
