What features are you looking for in the NAS?
Here is my advise: NASes come in different forms and all work in different ways. You can also build your own NAS if you have a computer and disks. What really matters are the features you are looking for. We call this "customer requirements", which is what a quotation need to fulfill. It's quite odd that a client would ask for something they don't know much about and a supplier pushes one down their throat.
So, start by telling us what purpose the NAS is supposed to serve on your network. We can then advise/quote.
Wash,
the NAS in question is to serve as a pure backup mechanism,in cases of emergencies or disasters i can retrieve the backups and get back in operation in no time.
