Safaricom has no competition. Just go 50 km from Nairobi and try to use Data services on your Mobile. Zain, who long gave up on adding anything else other than cheap calls on their network, will charge you an arm and a leg for speeds that are moody (will often speed up and then slow down to a trickle). Safaricom will be reasonably priced (not cheap!) but will offer you services that make you feel like pulling your hair out. The other networks dont exist here. That guys is the kenyan telecom landscape. The Nairobi one is quite a different one. -- Bored?
