The Class also counts towards your CPE's (Continuing Professional
Education). This is a mandatory requirement for the certification even

in handy.

Otherwise my advice still remains, self study, study widely, have fun,
then attend one of those K-90's or certified training when close to
the exam. Ask all your questions there, discuss your pain points and
questions regarding the exam then go take it.

Also note the exam might require travel, if you are self sponsored
that can be quite painful.
