Speaking as an MS Partner (not for Microsoft EA) <br><br>Have asked an ASP.Net Guru to present at these meetings. Would dare say he is as good in ASP.Net as as Conrad is in C#. He might attend tomorrow to get a feel of how things are going down so that he can prepare himself for future Africa.Net meetings.<br>
<br>Microsoft should invest at least 300 thousand dollars in promoting .Net to African software developers over the next year or so even as they invest 300 million dollars in Russia over the next 3 years. If they do not invest at least USD 5 Million to promote .Net in Africa over the next 5 years they are going to be in bigger trouble (with FOSS) here than they already are. <br>

It is in Microsoft&#39;s best interest to equip local MS Partners to connect to these geeks. Running major Tech-Ed or Developer conferences in South Africa or Dubai will not work here. There are good education facilities, seminars or conferences in India for about USD 100.00 per day going for about USD 400.00 per day in RSA or USD 800.00 per day in the USA. We need more SEMINARS and SUBSIDIES to promote .Net in Africa.<br>
