They are not using <a href="http://socrata.com">socrata.com</a>, they are using the Socrata Platform which is like CodeIgniter, Drupal... actually, the best analogy to the Socrata Platform is DSpace.<br>
<br>If you want to get your public data out into the public in a very short time, say 3 weeks, then you use Socrata or Factual, if you want to do the same in like 1 year, you put together a team of local developers and have them develop one.<br>
<br>If I was in Kukubo&#39;s or Bitange&#39;s shoe&#39;s, the decision to go Socrata is a no-brainer. <br></div></div>
