TEAMS is a public-private partnership. Has it gone live? No. Currently, there is no competition on the fiber table. Its all monopoly. <br>SEACOM is a private entity. Service providers buy bandwidth at a tenth of what they used to buy it.<br>

<br>Have prices come down?<br>YES. On the corporate front, so far, we have KDN and AK who have lowered prices or provided double/quadruple bandwidth for the same prices.<br>NO. Home users have seen no change in prices. Is it coming? We dont know. Rumours of safaricom introducing some interesting pricing. Will Zuku/AFOL/AK/Swift/Safcom/Orange/Yu/Zain reduce their prices? We dont know, yet.<br>
<br>What is the time to judge whether it will happen? For me, once we have competition, i.e. TEAMs live. In another month or two hopefully.<br><br>
