Allow me to contribute to this very absurdly interesting discussion.... <br><br>Joel was asking for a solution to a problem and apparently the topic was somehow hijacked... Maybe someone should advise Joel on how to go about solving his problem, then start another topic about how university students can use facebook to make the world a better place and perhaps Joel will change his mind on what students should be allowed to do. No need to hurl insults... techies fight with bytes (ask @AnonOps), not words, like English language majors.<br>

@Odhiambo, I am not in college now. I used to be a student in Strathmore college and to pay my fees I worked as an administrative assistant/computer lab assistant. FYI I did build a web based app while as a student.<div>

@david, my argument is this,if you want to build a facebook application for HIV/AIDS data collection then there is a whole school that is dedicated to ICT computing, my department is zoology and therefore there is someone who would want to use that computer to track The <i>Kenyan</i> Wattled <i>Bat</i> (Glauconycteris kenyacola) for his masters degree. To me you are wasting his time thereby misusing limited resources, you get my drift?</p>
