Hi James,

Pheonix is really really good. It also works on working phones(whether you want to update your firmware from an updated version of the downloaded firmware from  other sites with the  version  you want). It actually gives you a list and you can select the country you want to change your firmware to, example to the India version of the N97 firmware, hongkong, viet.... But the whole process is FLASHING your Nokia phone. Thats why backing up using the existing Nokia Software is a must.

Hi Joram.
Try downloading Phoenix 2009, but before using it backup all your data(contacts, settings, just everything) then use the software.
You can also try using Nokia Service Suite.
