Here is another true story (3 weeks ago, this occured)
It doesnt matter whether you adhered to these rules or not....
A work colleague of mine was in a matatu, policemen came and started harrasing the conductor...
The passengers got pissed and decided to confront the bunch of policemen,
The policemen seized the matatu and everyone inside, and took them to police station.
Then it charged everyone with "Attempting to alight at a non-bus stop area"
- charged with 10k fine each and thrown in a cell.
She had to call on relative to pay the 10k (bail) since she dint want to miss a day of work, to appear in court.
Guess what the court will do when they appear before the judge [?][?] :-)
