what serive pack are you on? When Vista first emerged, guys at uni had problems accessing a wireless network which XP was connecting to properly. Try upgrading to newer service packs, but I doubt if that will solve the issue. On 22/06/2009, James Muendo <timrick@gmail.com> wrote:
Dear all,
Greetings;
Am having an issue with connecting a printer HP 4700 series to a vista machine via a "mini-server" - that is running on XP.these mini-server currently has a wireless Access point connected to it,through which I was hoping it would broadcast the signal to the other machines(Laptops) such that they can print in wirelessly.Now I can see all the machines well and even access them.But when it comes to connecting a the laptops(Whose OS is in Vista),it brings an error.You can actually see the printer,but you cant connect to it.
Any one with positive ideas?
