Guys, help me understand this; how comes 1and1 <http://www.1and1.com/> will charge $3.99 per month (KShs. 3830 pa) for a linux hosting package that includes a .com domain, yet eacdirectory <http://www.eacdirectory.com/> will charge KShs. 2320 for .co.ke domain registration only! Grow .ke till there are 37million names and pricing will come down to 10USD - FYI you get a 50% discount when you own 2,000 domains on .ke but am sure you knew that.
or keep off .ke and let it grow to 37million and you can join in when the pricing comes down.
I dont mean to be rude, but i started buying domain names when they cost 70 USD for .com and saw that come down to where they are today.
The key is numbers.
Ofcourse you dont want to be in .de where they have numbers and it still costs over 100euros yet they are still growing (over 10m).
