Dear Dennis,
I could help with some CCNP jeremy videos(cbt nuggets) and train signal. Though
the curriculum has changed but i am pretty sure that the basics still
applys, especially for route and switch which is equivalent to bsci and
bcmsn respectively.

I have encountered a situation while configuring a PBX. The client has
analog (prepaid) phone lines from TKL and for them to dial out they have to
dial 0845 then wait to be prompted to dial the desired number. My problem
stems from the fact that when this is done with digital phones, the number
dialed after the 0845 does not show at all on the phone display and as such,
the users at the extns have no way to redial!
I have tried to configure a feature code/short code in the PBX (Avaya IP
Office) to circumvent this, by, say, dial 9 with some few secs wait, but I
simply can't get around it.
Anyone dealt with a similar scenario before and can share how they solved
the problem?

Hi All,
I'm looking for an individual who knows and understands in depth how to
operate a cutting plotter. I'm using the Graphtec series of plotter. The
individual needs to be a graphic designer as well. This will be a small side
job to train my team on how to fully utilize a cutting plotter for a day or
two.
Kindly contact me offlist if interested or forward to someone who can do it.
Regards,
Eric Mugo.

> Dear Solomon,
Setting a cybe cafe with your specification, is a good small scale start up.
Are you looking at getting branded systems? well i think you can always
figure out the cost of computers of your choice.
The aspect which we could deliberate on is the networking devices and
billing systems.
For Networking devices, i will suggest you go for Mikrotik router and Dlink
switches but if you can raise a little more funds, go for hp procurve
switches, for 10 pcs you could just get a 24port switch. Are you looking at
providing wireless services too? for the router you could also consider
Vyatta(if cost is major)
Billing System: If you will be using mikrotik router, then you have no
problem with billing system as mikrotik has quite a good hotspot services
with the user manager package installed, you will be printing tickets in no
time! Smile....
NB
If cost is then a major major issue then go for a link sys router which also
has wireless and use any of the widely available billing softwares,
chilisoft is ok....
Regards
