"Once CHE approves a degree all Kenyan employers are bound to accept them"

This statement is incomplete. To say that 'employers are bound to accept them' implies that it is illegal to employ someone from a programme that has not been approved by CHE. This would only be the case if you are hiring in the public sector (public service, civil service, parastatals etc.).

As a private employer, you are free to employ anyone you please though it is in your interest to employ someone from a credible institution. CHE is trying to make the job easier for you but by no means constrains your freedom of choice. CHE is merely a guide but has no liability for your hiring choices nor would you (as an employer) have any obligation or responsibility to CHE for your hiring decisions.
