You actually fell for that simple PR stunt they pulled at Pivot25? Tell me, what was so hard about telling some of their friends to post heavily during the presentation? I have been monitoring this site, and all I get is confused. In the following video, John Karanja, the founder of Whive, describes it as a social network; "The Swahili Facebook of Kenya."

Then on their Facebook page, they describe themselves as a Bulk SMS company for Kenyan Facebook members:

Then when you go to Whive.com itself, you see that it looks like a classifieds site, with a bit of events here and there:

All in all, this startup seems very confused about its identity, and on that premise, dealfish shouldn't be worried at all.
