Funny that Engineering (at least in CAD and CAM software) are the slowest in adopting linux. We have open source software for many other fields, including accounting! but when it comes to engineering and design, all flagship products are built for Windows. For instance CATIA, a software used by the who-is-who in aerospace, automotive and ship manufacturers has announced it has dropped support for all other OSes apart from Windows with their ver. 6.

Flash Disk Error

I have an Imation Flash disk with a capacity of 2gb.It had a lock software called Imationlock. The other day it was ok but after i gave it to a friend it came back showing a capacity of 1.98mb.The Imation lock software was reading that the secure partition was locked. On formatting it this,problem of capacity has not ceased and when i try to copy back the imationlock software,its tells me that its out of space. Looking forward to your assistance .
