Hi Skunks, I speak to those of you who use wordpress in your development. What would you recommend between Wordpress own CDN Photon or Cloudflare? I have been using Photon and it works quite well, but there is much database resource utilization by Jetpack and I have been thinking of doing away with it and opt for Cloudflare for CDN and find another way of traffic analytics (wordpress does have comprehensive realtime data here). What do you think? Just came across this review on Cnet<http://www.cnet.com/products/xiaomi-mi-pad> of the Xiaomi Mi Pad (an Android powered tablet) made by Mi, a Chinese company that is bold enough to 'borrow' it's design ideas from Apple. These Chinese guys are good, the tablet has some pretty good specs other than the fact that it looks almost like the iPad mini down to even the Android skin that greatly resembles iOS7. Not sure if Apple will go after this Chinese company with a law suit but oh well.. Apple devices require on initial setup you either register with Itunes or icloud and do sync your apple device with the either of the two above, the backups will also be done on icloud regularly. In the event you never did any of the above please accept and move on, erase the data and start afresh but in the event you had registered with any of the above accounts please install Itunes on any laptop(any OS) of choice log in and then plug the ipad and restore your ipad, there are no two ways about it. -- *Wagah Hayanga* ᐧ

Hello All Today i had a nasty experience. Boarded a PSV vehicle on Thika road heading to town.Had my bag which contained my laptop. Then some 5 guys entered the vehicle,as they entered,they were squeezing each other to get in,little did i know that they had succeeded in opening my bag and had almost knicked my laptop before i got them red-handed and one of them dropped it then started saying that "ilikuwa imeanguka" I decided to alight the matatu at the next stage,then they also decided to alight.i waited for them to alight then i just told the conductor to go ahead all the way to town. when i reach town,i saw the same same guys alighting from another vehicle and they had knicked something from someone and he was chasing one of them.i did not know if the person managed to get them. The trick they use is this.They enter a vehicle,and then they start saying ati kuna operation ya polisi,they wait for people to move and check if there valuables are ok,then they will try to move around while trying opening unsuspecting people bags. I believe they operate on Thika road mostly. People beware! and take care of your valuables.I am told that this is a common trend on Thika road.who knows where else it may be heading to. Hello Cynthia, Thank you for sharing your experience along Thika road: the same thing happens a lot on Mombasa road. Oftenly, the cons usually board a ma3 mainly at Airtel along Mombasa road. Then they enter about 5 guys while squeezing ( normally conductors usually say 'ingieni haraka' and that gives them an advantage). The frauds are always dressed in classy outfit and you won't suspect them for frauds and that's how they manage to snatch other people's property. Always watch out for your stuff ( a jeans trousers is a good option for securing phones) and commuting with a friend is better than being alone. Another way is to hit the gym seriously, not even a prison guard would dare stare at you or attempt such. Just read this article<http://www.firstbiz.com/biztech/facebook-wants-to-enter-the-money-transfer-…>talking about Facebook's push into getting a piece of the action in mobile payments. Which got me thinking, why don't they just buy Mpesa from Vodacom and Safaricom? and if they do, what would happen? I'm curious on what the effect would be on Mpesa if they did buy it out, or if they couldn't, the obstacles that would prevent them from acquiring it, legal or ortherwise. They did just spend a ton on whatsapp, money really isn't a problem for them! Thoughts?

Hello All I need your assistance. I need to know if i have a Nanostation M5,will it be able to talk with a Nanostation M2 using the ethernet port? My assumption is that if i am doing a p2p link,i can use two nano m5 to do the point to point because they use a 5GHZ channel. However since laptops,phones etc use the 2.4GhZ range,i was thinking that if i used the LAN port on the M5 and connect it to the M2;it would work then i would be able to distribute it to clients. Hello All, I finally got my hands on the SSD drive did the clone for my laptop and I can tell you am impressed, the boot up time has halved, loading my programs is much quicker and searching my files is a bliss. Guys this is it I love it, I do not need to upgrade my Core i5 an time soon, and having suffered a great loss recently when my Laptops Hard drive and my Backup disk both failed (My laptop bag had a slight accident :-)). Hi guys, What could be the problem when an application reports *Linux error 28* (No space left on device) yet when we do a df there are tonnes of free space? One Plus smartphone

Just stumbled across this newly launched smartphone called one plus. A cynogen Android beast with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel f/2 camera unit, and bottom-facing stereo speakers designed with assistance from JBL. And this for only 299 USD for 16 GB and 349 for 64 GB. But the catch is that you'll need to be "invited" to buy one at first. OnePlus says it will give out invitations through promotions on social media, and people who've managed to buy the phone will also be able to invite new purchasers. I always wonder why when someone writes to this list looking for a software solution we(many of us) are quickly pointing them to some open source solution. I think the first solution should come from the developers within the list. By now we should be knowing who and what solutions can be offered by guys within here... Just thinking.

Any of you used the new Nakumatt Globalcard MasterCard with PayPal? Does it work without a fuss? Tired of my Equity Visa card, I think all Equity do nowadays is upgrade systems and launch new products, and little focus on the service. Called Equity for 20 minutes, the lady seemed to have difficulty querying my statements (I had to look for my printout and give her dates, yet she is on a PC) and at the end of the whole 20 minutes, had no idea what is wrong with my card. Mind you this is the second time in a week I'm raising the issue with them. 12 hours later, they are yet to get back. Called PayPal and in 7 minutes, they said my bank was rejecting the transactions. Hello Friends; I Have Exchange 2010 Server running in Windows Server 2008. My problem are as follows: - Out Of Office Messages are only sent internally and NOT externally . - After researching i realised that Out of Office messages are being rejected due to the null <> used as sender . In Exchange 2010/2007 Microsoft has changed the behavior of automatic server based notifications, especially “Out of Office” replies which should be sent with a blank sender This means that the HUB Server in your organization replaces the senders name with a blank one while transferring it to the internet. *Facts : * - I have no firewall installed for incoming/outgoing emails hence you can overlook this. - Exchange Connectivity test results are ok . - If you create an Open Relay Send connector the Out Of Office Message is sent to external clients but we receive very many NDrs since most Smart Hosts reject messages from a n Open Relay Send Connector. - The Companies Smart Host is smtpout.accesskenya.com - CMD Shell Results : All our settings are correctly configured .
