Hi, We are looking for a reliable email host service for a .co.ke domain. We currently use Sasahost but their services have proved unreliable with their servers being blacklisted too often. Hi Guys, Does DDNS really work when you are using Safaricom 3G? My tests indicate that it doesn't work, unless setup imenishinda aki, which I highly doubt. I can see the DDNS server sees my IP, but connecting back to my IP doesn't work, even just ICMP (and don't suggest I check my firewall because I have). So, After more than 6 years of listening to music on my Creative SBS A300s and Logitec/Sennheiser earphones , I think I'm becoming deaf and therefore no longer in a position to appreciate the bass in the Creatives. I would like to replace them with a hometheatre that offers some great sound reproduction in the 50 Hz range upwards. However, I am surprised that most of what I am seeing here ( http://www.jumia.co.ke/home-theatre/) does not offer bluetooth pairing or even DNLA. I thought stuff in this age should even have a mobile app to control the damn thing? Hi Skunks, I have been getting this error-"The "Domain\administrator" is not assigned to any sub estates. You must be a member of at-least one sub-estate to run the console." The suggestions that i have got fro the inter webs are that the domain administrator needs to be a member of Sophos Full Administrators. That too doesn't seem to fix the problem. Hi members, Any one who has an idea how to reload geonetwork 2.x metadata? I recently changed the URL and now all thumbnails are pointing to the old URL and therefore not loading. I cant see anything in the admin interface to indicate that its possible to do so there, and the GAST tool is refusing to run via the terminal (saying "Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable "). Hello All Just thought i would highlight my plight.I had heard of this but i never thought it could happen to me. A few days ago i boarded a bus heading back to town from Mombasa road. I had my bag with my laptop inside. Everything was fine until the moment i received a phone call from my boss and we began talking.The conversation continued for quite some time. Little did i know that some two four guys(i assume they were four in total) i was seated at the window and two guys came and sat next to me. i didnt think much of it at the time. As we reached GPO one of them behind me dropped some coins and asked me to pick it up for him.I think that was when they opened the bag and got it.not really sure.On a serious note,i dont know how these guys were that good.. By the time i screamed..they had confronted me and i was down. What really pissed me off is Nairobians can see a lady on a bus being mugged and do nothing about it.They just watch. This is a cost of "use it as it is", often times open software community versions have many bugs, that are intentionally kept for the so called "professional support" that would fix and other update of costing of additional modules. You should be careful with random customization as that might break your copy of the code . Your copy can quickly go out of sync with the community versioning and block you from successful updating. The other ugly issue with most open source productivity software is the price of "Professional support". Most of the time costs go higher that most closed source.Why should your pay more than $1000 for a software with intentional bugs or certain limitations in features instead of buying a reliable software that works starting from $500?That why I just asked you what you mean by "Low Cost". If you could define your true demands i could give a good solution solution with options of much more reliable customization in case. To be honest your questions are really interesting though you have tried to present something like an aptitude test 1. No 1..it's not a matter of preference or just a single technique that sort things out. Most of the time its a combination of techniques, policies, staff attitude, etc. 2. While anti virus is not the only network security, answering the question would in no way give any clue of a good network security expert. 3. Haha..it reminds me of a certain day when our in-house system suddenly stop showing data in all the user forms. All managers and other guys higher up there who spend more time in computers forwarding reports they never prepare and chatting were punching me with all non-sense professional jargons from linkedin in the MD's Office. I simply told them I had no time to waste with their non-sense discussion and went back to my cube. About 10 minutes later, I had a solution with a number of culprits and guess who, half of them were my catch. They had shared couples of pics from their previous, trip. They shared those photos through the main file server from an infected USB flash disk. Some pressures are non sense from lazy guys present themselves as professionals but really a bunch of bogus guys. 4. Is this a manager or a jack off trade bass ass? 5. Is also an interesting question, the no of users doesn't necessarily tell how competent one is with both ERP concepts and processes implemented by the respective ERPs. For example having 40 users( 20-sales people, 10- stores guys, 1-accounting, 1-purchasing, 1-market guy, the rest are bosses who simple look at very few reports.
