Linux partition recovery

Hi people, I need help urgently: I deleted a linux partition and re-partitioned a disk only to discover that a particular backup I had wasn't current. Software tried so far: Testdisk, currently running DiskInternals since last night but no joy yet. Any suggestions on what software can sort me out?
