greetings fellow Skunks, It is evident from the list and the great IT minds we have in KE and now with Konza city coming up, I believe that the market is ripe for a special tech TV show This could be an avenue to discuss anything from - latest products and softwares - Geeky Gadgets - Phone specs and benchmarking - Gaming - Hacking awareness (the IEBC clip fallacy could be put to rest here) - Animations - Benchmarking various internet providers and Mobile providers the list is endless. Here is another idea, what better way than to get our best minds to produce and host it. This can be owned by us, the skunks We can take it this idea up, conceptualise and, host it and sell it to a major station What say you?

iPhone CDMA on Orange network

I have been wondering for a while why Orange Kenya does not sell CDMA iPhones yet they have the only active CDMA network in the region and as far as I can tell it is on the same tech as the American one (CDMA 2000) This would ensure lock in of subscribers and allow subsidizing of handsets. The subscribers would be happy on an non-congested network, assured revenues for the network since there is no unlocking or sim swap business and utilization of the network that only seems to be used by modem dongles. Skunks Is there anyone on this list who has heard of this service or subscribed to it.Apparently heard that one can get 14 channels in HD including epl as long as one pays for the subscription card online (about 140 usd per anuum)e) Its apparently popular in Tz but never heard of it in Kenya. Also wondering whether the nilesat footprint reaches here. I stand advised. Kevin
