Windows RE erases and formats the hard drive partitions on which Windows and personal data reside. 3. Windows RE installs a fresh copy of Windows. 4. The PC restarts into the newly installed copy of Windows. Refreshing your PC goes like this: 1. The PC boots into Windows RE. 2. Windows RE scans the hard drive for your data, settings, and apps, and puts them aside (on the same drive). 3. Windows RE installs a fresh copy of Windows. 4. Windows RE restores the data, settings, and apps it has set aside into the newly installed copy of Windows. 5. The PC restarts into the newly installed copy of Windows.

Imax theatre coming to Nairobi in March

I just passed the 20th Century and noted some coming soon for an imax theatre that is apparently due to launch any time from next week. Anyone in this forum experienced imax before ? attached an excerpt press release. Get ready people! IMAX is coming. You just have to wait until March of next year. Screen 1 at the Fox 20th Century Cinema is currently closed for renovations to accommodate the IMAX theatre. The upgrade will make Kenya the third country in Africa to have the IMAX Experience. The other two are South Africa and Nigeria. A 7.5 metre-high screen has been imported from Canada, according to Anna Ratkinova the Executive Director of the operational management of IMAX cinema in Nairobi. IMAX decided to put up the screen at the 20th Century Plaza because it is the only theatre hall in Nairobi that can support that size. Alexei Serkov, the representative of Blue Sky World says:“The addition of an IMAX theatre is symbolic of the evolution of the cinema industry in Central Africa, where the demand for a premium cinematic experience is growing.” Ratkinova said the theatre would also be completely renovated to resemble a modern theatre.Angel Media Ltd’s is also planning another screen in Nairobi two IMAX theatres in Mombasa in two years’ time. Movie-goers will pay approximately Sh1,000 compared to the current Sh500. As of 30 August 2011 there were a total of 560 IMAX theatres operating in 46 countries.These theatres initially evolved from showcasing visuals in museums and science centres but have proved popular in the commercial sphere.

Safaricom on Seacom

It seams the route used by Seacom to London and onward is much more viable than the TEAMS UAE-India wherever route. Much less latency to Europe and US. If this link wasn't so coneested, it is acutally a better route than TEAMS.
